In the Mirror - Charlie left his passport at home when he was on his way to Ireland and couldn't get on the flight stranded at Stansted - then when Ryan Air let him on he gave them tickets to see Busted at Wembley.
Secondly - backstage at a gig - James gave a fan £20 to buy him a McDonalds

The jet-set life takes some getting used to... Busted's Charlie Simpson landed in hot water when he forgot his passport for a recent flight to Ireland.
Simpers - in a mad dash to get to a Dublin gig on time - found himself stranded at Stansted Airport where security staff were adamant: no passport, no go.
Without even a driving licence to prove his identity, the 19-year-old was terrified he'd miss the concert at the Point Theatre.
A source told 3am: "Charlie was mortified when he got to check-in and realised he had no ID at all.
"He tried to explain that he was in a boyband - even showing them a picture of himself in a mag, but they were having none of it." Our insider added:
"Charlie's tour manager had travelled on ahead with bandmates James Bourne and Matt Jay and all their documents.
"Luckily the check-in crew managed to track down the band's manager in Ireland and they faxed his passport details."
A happy Charlie was so chuffed to be allowed on his Ryanair flight that he decided to treat all the check-in crew to a night out as a thank you
So 10 members of Swissport UK, the Stansted check-in company, were treated to a Christmas outing at Busted's Wembley gig on Saturday.
Our man at the airport said: "It was really kind of Charlie, and as you can imagine the staff were over the moon."
A spokesman for the band refused to comment but a Swissport UK rep confirmed: "Once his manager had been tracked down and his passport produced, the airline cleared him to travel."
We always said that Charlie was a nice sort!

No - it didn't say that at all - It said he was lucky not to be injured. It said nothing about dying.

The comment about Kara was a bit mean. What James said about her driving was quite funny though.
