I heard rumours that Fightstar are signed to Universal Island.
Presumably the same Universal Island that he slagged off a few weeks after quitting Busted because they're too driven on sales and marketing.
I'm in a weird mood today

i dont think charlie was allowed to be signed to island with another band cos of his busted contract,thats why he set up sandwich leg

i havent heard that but i dont think so - he seemed really against them after busted split up, and if he cared as much as he seemed to he wouldn't do that, whatever the money - which he said he wasnt interested in anyway

Yes, they are signed to Universal Island. They actually have lots of bands like that signed to them, not just bands like Busted and McFly. I'm not sure what's happening with Sandwich Leg, but being signed to Universal helps with distribution etc.
