Warnings; Suicide.
"Matt, it's over.." Those three words rang in my head as I sat outside on the patio swing, rain poured down from the gray sky. I sighed, swaying my legs back and forth. My brown eyes stared at the slippery grass, tears forming in my eyes. I nibbled on my lower lip, wrapping my arms tightly around myself.
I stared at James, registering what he had said to me. I shook my head rapidly. "B-but Jamers. Why?!" I shouted, reaching out for him. Tears fell off my pale face as the thin boy took a step back, holding his hands out in front of himself so I couldn't reach him. "Don't call me Jamers anymore. I just can't do this anymore, Matt." He looked at me sadly through his pair of blue eyes that usually lit up my world. But the way his eyes rested on me broke my world into pieces. "But you can't leave.." My body began to shake. But he was already walking out the door. "James! No! Please!" My tears turned into sobs and I ran right behind James, dropping to my knees. "Please. Please don't leave me.." I begged. James threw me one more heartstricken look before leaving the house and leaving me on the hardwood floor.
I leaned my head against one of the poles attached to the swing, the warm liquid trickling down from my eyes. It brushed passed my lips and I could taste the salty tears. My lower lip quivered and I felt my chest tighten and my heart miss a beat. My breathing began to grow irregular. I rose to my feet, trying to regain my ability to breathe. Failing, I quickly walked inside the empty home that once belonged to James and I. I didn't want to run, fearing that I would lose my breath completely and pass out. Although, that wouldn't be such a bad thing. I shook off my thoughts and made it to the sink. I hastily grabbed a glass from the cupboard and turned the knob, watching water rush down out of the faucet. I pushed my glass under the falling liquid, filling it up before taking a swig from it. I took slow and deep breaths, staring out the window. I thought over everything and realized what I had to do. I grabbed my car keys from the counter and ran outside. I opened the garage door and got into my black Mustang. I shoved the keys into the ignition and backed out of the driveway, pulling into the road, beginning to drive, heading toward the place I knew James would be. After at least 10 minutes of driving, I pulled into the driveway, parking in front of a small apartment. I hopped out of the car and opened the front door. My stomach dropped and my heart broke even more when my eyes settled on the sight before me. James was pressed tightly against Tom Fletcher. Tom was receiving soft kisses from James, kisses that I used to get. James's gaze shot up as soon as he heard the door open. "Matt.." He got off the couch, walking toward me. I stood there dumbfoundly, my breathing coming out in pants like it had done earlier. I tried to take deep breaths, but I couldn't. "Get away.." I whispered, taking a few steps back, the tears rolling down my face all over again. "Mattie.." James frowned. "Don't call me Mattie. Is this why you left me? For HIM!" I gestured angrily toward the McFLY boy on the couch. James kept growing closer to me until I outstretched my arms, pressing my hands on his chest, shoving him backward. "Well.." James whimpered. "Spit it out." I snapped. "I didn't want you to find out. Really. I wanted to just get over him. But..Tom. He's amazing Matt. We snuck around, but I didn't want to hurt you. That's why I ended it.." James whispered, looking away from me. Well, that was a kick in the face. I shook my head violently, glaring at him. "You were cheating on me?" I gasped for air. James didn't answer. The only noise he made was a small sniff. I ran outside, throwing myself into the car. I grabbed my car keys and put them in the ignition, beginning to drive once more. I couldn't even remember why I went there in the first place. I stared ahead at the road before me, gnawing on my lower lip. I finally pulled into my driveway, getting out of the car, dashing into the house, aware of my trouble with breathing. I went into the kitchen, going into the silverware drawer, rummaging around for something until I found a sharp enough knife. I walked up the steps and into my bedroom. I ripped a few strong cords from my computer and went into the half empty closet. I tore the rest of the clothes off of the bar, throwing them onto my bedroom floor. I got my computer chair, putting it below the bar. I was panting, my eyes slightly closed. I used every bit of strength I had to open them. I pressed the blade to my fingertip, cutting it so a line of blood appeared. I wrote something on the white wall with my own blood. I grabbed the cords, tying them to the metal bar, standing up on the chair. I wrapped the cords around my neck and tied a knot. I stared at a picture of me and James that was hanging on the wall that was in my room and in my view. I closed my eyes and kicked the chair out from underneath myself. I gasped for one last breath and everything went black. I began to suffocate until I couldn't breathe and the oxygen stopped pumping through my veins and the blood stopped pumping to my heart. Behind me written in blood was; James, I can't breathe without you.
Endd.
